From April to June 2009, Lunenburg youth have partnered with Green Solutions Charitable Trust in collaboration with 4 The World Belize to gather materials necessary to supply school in the Central American country of Belize. These schools are in dire need of the most basic supplies necessary for a good education. We are looking for donations of everyday items and or fiscal donations that will assist in our work to purchase, fill and send a shipping container from Lunenburg to Belize.

and awareness campaigns already in the works.

Attend

Attend the following events in support of the

School in a box project;

Loonie 2unes; a talent show, live and silent auction at the

Pearl Theatre at 7pm on June 5^th

Spring Fair ; a celebration at the Lunenburg Academy on June 6^th. Your can support the school in a box project by donating items for the yard sale, by sponsoring items for the container or by getting involved in painting the container.

Cinema Politica; a free documentary film screening focused on poverty and social justice issues in central America followed by a talk about the school in a box project. The film will take place on the third floor of the Academy from 7-9pm on June 12th
