Ryan Cleland
Profile:
Ryan is the Sustainability Officer at The Global Education Association and has also acted as a lead facilitator for the West Africa Initiative in Dakar Senegal. His responsibilities include coordinating and developing resources and strategies to help organizations and institutions become more ecologically minded and sustainable. Ryan’s passions include building lasting relationships with others, travel, and environmental justice. He has worked as both a teacher and ship board director for the international tall ship sailing school called Class Afloat. Ryan has traveled extensively in the South pacific, Africa, Asia, and Europe. He has a Bachelor of Education from McGill University and is currently working on a Master degree in Environmental Communication and Education.
