In envisioning a generation with the skills, knowledge and awareness to become active leaders in an increasingly globalized world, we place a large expectation on today’s youth. And while it must be the youth who achieve this and take ownership of their own accomplishments, educators have a significant role to play. The Global Education Association thus exists to provide tools and resources through educators to empower this generation achieve this vision at the highest level.

Towards this end, the Global Education Association seeks to:

• Create an empowering environment where youth can learn practical skills, build confidence and create tangible outcomes by means of curriculum based, hands-on youth action projects.
• Foster the building of awareness, skills, attitudes and values necessary for active community leadership through providing traditional and new media education resources, curricula consulting and program design for high schools and community organizations.
• Engage youth to take active roles local and global issues by providing cross-generations and cross-cultural programs and workshops in local communities and international settings.
